What ARE they thinking?
Ok, I'm officially convinced that our Democratic "leaders" have lost their minds.
What part of "Get us the H*** out of this war!" don't they get?
I will be very interested to see how each of the candidates for president vote on this latest "give the Shrub whatever he wants" measure.....it will definately color how I will vote in the primary
What say you?

I think they should have just kept sending the original bill back at Dubya to keep vetoing, and after each veto Pelosi and Reid could have gone on TV and talked about how Dubya just denied funding for our troops.
The time to "fix" the problems was immediately after the "Mission Accomplished" fiasco, not years later when things have spiralled out of control in the way that was predicted before this whole misadventure was started.
I think the biggest problem is that Democrats are considered to be in the majority now, but in actuality they only have a slim majority so it's hard for them to get everything passed that they'd like.
It's extremely disgusting that we're still in this war and I think we should bring our troops home and send the people (no matter what their age) who voted for Bush in their place to finish the job.
I remember when he "won" in 2004 and Bill Maher was saying that he almost thought that Bush should win so that he would have to deal with what he created, and the worst thing is that he has yet to be accountable for anything he's done in the past 6 years.
I agree with Kimmer. The Democrats are cowards. Let's see if I understand their reasoning. They can't be seen as not supporting the troops, so they allow W to win this round, and that means more troops will be killed and maimed. what??
