Worthwhile Watching
I knit while I watch TV, and a good program worth watching is the News War special by Frontline. The first part of the 4 part series aired last Tuesday night - apparently the full series can be watched online if you are so inclined!

I second this recommendation. My husband recorded it on our PVR and I was sucked in last night, despite the fact that I had every intention of studying instead of watching TV.
