Sorry for the photoless post - I just had to write in and say my Swallowtail is now happily blocking away and should be dry by the time I get home tonight :) Finished in just over a week lol - much faster than my first lace project...
I've cast on for the next lace project (in Red - don't ban me!)
But I think I might take the rest of the yarn I have from this project and knit up a pair of socks - beaudelaires maybe? Or Kew perhaps?

I am so inspired, and does anyone out there know just how badly I want the holiday knitting completed?
Baudelaire is a very pretty pattern, Crazyknittinglady.blogspot.com was working on some but had to put them on the backburner...for holiday knitting. I'm not familiar with Kew, will need to look those up.

I love baudelaire - I'm thinking about those too. I think I have to have them in red, though (*duck*)
When my holiday knitting is over, I have some wonderfully soft off white alpaca waiting to be knit into Baudelaires. I think the pattern is absolutely stunning.
I like Baudelaire, but I don't do toe-up; for some reason it just doesn't appeal to me. Kew, OTOH, has just landed on my to-knit list :)
