Saying hello
Hello.
I joined KnitBlue a couple months ago but haven't had the opportunity until now to post and introduce myself. I am a CA transplant living in TX. Big change, I know! I am lucky, however, to be in probably the only blue spot on the very red state.

Anyway, I thought I would come on, say hello, and share my knewly purchased blue yarn with you all. It is really great. Soft and springy. It is my first time buying yarn made of soy and I really like it.
This yarn is destined to be a Calorimetry, I think.

Welcome! Love the yarn--I've heard good things about that stuff. You'll have to let us know how you like it.
welcome to the group!
neat looking yarn, I haven't had the chance to try any soy yarn yet, but the idea is interesting...I'll be looking forward to hearing how you like working with it
That's really pretty yarn, it looks like it has different shades of blue in it.
I knit a baby kimono out of bamboo yarn recently, and liked it a lot.
I will be sure to let you all know how it knits up.
I, too, have used bamboo yarn on an almost finished sweater. It's bamboo ribbon and feels alot like silk.
